Delmar VFW Post 8276 uses this website to serve members, veterans, supporters, and our local community. This notice explains the information we collect and how we use it.

Information we collect

We collect information you provide when you request access, create or manage an account, purchase giveaway tickets, register for an event, contact us, or subscribe to a newsletter. This may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, account details, and transaction information needed to complete your request.

Google Sign-In

If you choose to sign in with Google, Google authenticates your account and provides us with your verified email address. We use that email address only to match it against an existing Delmar VFW website account.

Google Sign-In does not create an account, link a Google profile, or store Google access tokens. If your email address does not match an existing account, we redirect you to the access-request form instead.

How we use information

We use personal information to provide requested services, manage membership and event activity, process purchases, protect accounts, respond to questions, and send receipts, security notices, and other transactional messages.

Newsletter and promotional email is sent only to people who have given permission or otherwise have an appropriate relationship with the Post. Every newsletter includes a way to unsubscribe, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly.

Sharing and protection

We do not sell or rent personal information. We share it only with service providers that help us operate the site, process payments, deliver email, or meet legal obligations. We limit access to authorized people and use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we maintain.
